Another Captain To Burn Down The Ship.

Another Captain To Burn Down The Ship.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

Cause a disasters a disaster no matter what Christian language you drag it through.

"

The only thing left to do is leave this town

and sail this boat back to steady ground

but when the captain put his liqour down

there were no more sailors left.

Surely its a sinking ship

but the fish will just as soon forget

This town will be left with nothing but regret

but my God, we've still got internet.

So he finds himself drinking by candle light

and its anything but a romantic night

the power has gone out but its far too bright

to hold a conversation.

The only thing left to do is leave this town

and sail this boat back to steady ground

but when the captain put his matches down,

there were no more sailors left.

Scattered thinking was always his favorite flaw

His aunt still lurks out in the hall

he hears her annoying voice as she calls,

"What do we do with his underwear?"

Forget that hes gone,

and took those brown eyes with him

packed up all the parts we'll miss

until he's given

his life- has already been set in stone,

hovering over dry dirt and bone.

The only thing we've got left is this awful town

let the boat burn down to the ground

so the captain got up, but just sat back down

there are no more sailors left.
