Here.

Here.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

When s**t went down, and so did we.

"

But when s**t went down,

and so did we,

I found your chest heaving

and your knuckles white

and your lunch being baked on the pavement.

Angsty teens tucked their hearts back up their sleeves,

angry bouncers relaxed their biceps

and Max Bemis took off his face

to look at ours.

I remember when dirty was a word to describe a physical state of cleanliness,

and dancing kept his groin off mine.

But here on the ground,

where everything changed and came together

I knew this is what I came here for.

Recognition

Realization

I never needed it in the first place.
