freezing.

freezing.

A Poem by Chloe Madison Taylor.
"

i like it. i like it because i came up with the lines for it while it was actually going on.

"

With our skinned knees

and raised voices

the freezing air stings our lungs.

but it doesnt matter a bit

as long as we're heard.

the wind is so cold

and your hands are so rough

and we can hardly make our way

through this darkness.

but it doesnt matter a bit

because we have everything

we could ever search for.

the smoke dances its way

from our lips into our hair

through our clothes,

and gives us a numb brain

to go with the numb bodes

frozen by the cold.

and it doesnt matter a bit

because now we can forget.

we keep walking and talking

never wanting to go home

it doesnt even matter that words

are making less and less sense

or that i cant feel a single thing

because we've got a deathgrip on tonight

and we're never letting go.

OMFG OMFG OMFG!
I wonder why I skipped this in the first place... I LOVE IT! Honestly, it's my favorite piece from you!

I can feel it. See it. Anything.
I wish I was there. I really do :(

The part with "nonesense" reminds me of my own similar experience. I was jumping on a cold October night with a whole lot of strangers, until I could not longer see. I was so light-headed and dizzy I actually fell asleep - fainted - and woke up th next morning on the grass. well not really... but you get my point...

Anyway, I felt the energy. The emotions flowing. Inside I am screaming. It's truely inspiring...

"feelings are mutual" is a cliche expression. Again, good details.

Your poem has such a strong sense of self. The life in it spoke loud to me when I read it.
