A Crystal in The Woods

A Crystal in The Woods

A Poem by Chloe Garber

The sleepy sun slowly begins to rise, capturing all the unseen images you would not normally notice, in the woodland.

The tiny bubbles of dew hug the taloned blades of grass and hum a sunny song, waking the critters that rest beneath them.

As I step over the broken bottle, the shards of glass reflect an abundance of captivating colors.

Pinks and blues and yellows dance all over my skin while the icy river cracks and bleeds a luminous dark blue.

The images that you created in poem feel so realistic, I got chills just from reading this. The words you used made me get captured in work. Fantastic!
