Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Chloe Solomon
"

just a little Something I found in an old notebook of mine

"

I hear my heart beat in my chest

my stomach is a hornet's nest

eyes peer down at me

so expectantly

I've nothing to give

so little to show

and no where on this earth to go

the door is locked

the window is blocked

someone let me out

I scream and I shout

but no one cares

I fight I bite

but it's too hard

I can never play the right card

This is good, the words are nicely structured in my opinion anyway. Sometimes it seems that people expect so much of us and deep down we doubt we could ever do or be that way so we just want to escape everything, this is what i got from reading the poem. You conveyed someone being trapped within and without very nicely with just a few words.

Good Job
