Forget

Forget

A Poem by snapstache

As the door slams,

Into my face,

The waterworks start,

They hold a race,

Seeing who will get there first,

Falling fast,

Then they burst.

Your last words,

Ringing in my head,

Over and over,

The words you said,

I'll love you forever,

I'll never let go,

All of them lies,

 I now know.

My mind is trying,

To erase you,

To completely forget,

Who you were,

To never remember the person I was,

When I was with you,

The horrible person,

That now is gone.
