Outsider

Outsider

A Poem by snapstache

Hiding away,
From the sunlight of each day,
Convincing myself,
It's better this way,
Being alone,
All by myself,
But it's not,
I know that deep down,
This is no way to live,
Crying and sulking,
Every hour of the day,
But there seems no hope for someone like me,
Someone who thinks nothing's easy,
That no one cares,
Or ever will,
There's no place for someone like me,
I might as well end my agony,
So I raise the gun up to my head,
Finger of trigger,
Ready to fire,
No longer an outsider.

This is an overly pretty poem. It's dark, sad and everything a poem like this should be. The words you use paint an amazing picture and I especially love the last line. Wonderful work!

well other than the fact that this poem is very sad... it was very well written..... the beginning i think is totally relatable to everyone... I mean automatically I was like oh i feel the same way.... the ending is definitley a little twist.... pretty dark..... and helps people understand why someone would take their... though nothing should ever cause someone to take thier own life... anyways sorry off subject great poem and totally off subject but I really like hte picture you picked for the poem
