Losing You

Losing You

A Poem by snapstache

Your words cut through me,

Like a knife,

When you told me,

Goodbye,

You raised the gun up to your head,

Finger on trigger,

Ready to fire,

Tears soaked my face,

When you kissed my cheek,

And said,

'Promise not to tell a soul',

I promised,

Then the bang rung through my ears,

I saw your bloody face,

And I ran,

I told the whole town,

What you had done,

And even though I know you're dead,

I can't risk losing you.
