My heart beat slowed,

When you gave me that rose,

Now I hardly breathe,

It killing me,

My heart is killing me,

And it feels so good,

I want to cry,

Tears of joy,

Now I smile as I meet your eyes,

My heart beat speeds up again,

So volatile,

Slowing and speeding,

Confusing me.
