A Friendship no More

 

 

You thought it would last forever

that he would never leave your side

He was everything to you

 

 

When you needed comfort

or someone to just sit and listen

He would always have your back

 

 

He wouldn't let you do something stupid

at least not without him there

He would never let you down

 

 

But then it happens so slowly

he starts to be the reasons behind your tears

he starts to make excuses of why he's not there

 

 

You don't want to believe it

you don't want it to end

but the tears keep flowing

and he's not there

 

 

The one person who you always depended on is gone

leaving you all alone

You have to make the decision to tell him your done

the hardest thing you have ever done

 

 

Now its over but you don't feel any better

if anything you only feel worse

seven years of your life up and gone

 

 

You can only hope that what you did was right

a friendship just ended

and your never be the same

 

 

There's a hole in your chest that will never go away

No one will ever be like him

No one will ever fill the gap that is there with him gone
