Tired of crying

Tired of crying

A Poem by Chloe Marie

When your tired of crying over the same guy

but you love him so much and that's never gana change.

You think over the past and it only serves to make you cry more over what you had.

He claims to love you back but all he does is hurt you.

You don't even know why it hurts so bad,

after all this time you should be used to it.

But it's always a new wound

along with the others that have barely healed.

Each time he just adds to your pain.

When your asked if your okay

and you can't say what is really the problem

because no one really cares.

They don't know him like you do,

the man that only you get to the privilege to know.

Your all alone and drowning in your sea of tears.

No one understands the love you have

for the only reason why you wanted to live,

for so long he was your lifeline keeping you here.

But now your alone again with your fears.

You trusted him with everything including your heart.

But he didn't even care, he just tore it all apart.

He was the last one you thought would leave you all alone,

but now he's gone and your broken and tired.

Tried of the tears tired of the memories keeping them there.

Broken down and crying a sea of tears.

Does he even realize how he hurts you?

Does he even care?

You try and stay away but you never can.

The past is there always leading you back.

Back to happiness back to him.

Until he breaks you again and leaves you in your sea of tears.

Dear Chloe,

Your really poured out your emotions and only when this is done can we truly understand the depth of feeling. This was well done.

I think that women, much more so than men, have a desperate desire for a perfect and romantic world. Their hearts need to have an ideal hero that will love them, support them, and make the world seem right. This is tragic because we men have feet of clay, and we fall so easily off to that imagined white charger. Yes, we do get up in the saddle sometimes, but we fall right off. Now that's not to say that there are some of us are less feeling than others. You women have to pick and choose and weed out the rascals among us. Get the good ones and throw the others away. But none of us are Lancelot.

This was well written. I would leave the profanity out, however. Your poem doesn't need it, and it is just jarring. It also detracts, I think, from taking the high ground, and your poem definitely is speaking from a high hill. So don't muddy the waters. Just my opinion.

All my best,

Rick
