Anger

Anger

A Poem by Chloe Marie

Anger

Tears of anger roll down your face

Your fits clench, nails digging into you hand

Words wait to slip of your tongue

Anger written on every line off your face

Disappointment at an outcome

You sit alone

Annoyed at anyone who dares to disturb your gloomy silence

Just wanting to be left alone

Knowing there is no way to change the outcome

You won’t bother to argue for your cause

Deciding to sit instead away by yourself

Words going through your head

Things to say that you know won’t change a thing

Why waste the time arguing when it won’t help your cause

So you sit in silence

Living with the cards you were dealt

The anger building up inside

A buildup of emotion waiting to be released
