Chapter 2

"WHAT!? This is outrageous! Well, we did see this coming, but we all thought it would be years from now." Concordia blasted out. He was a frail, old man, you wouldn't think such things could make anyone so peaceful, so angry. "Right, Christiana, get the guard ready, make sure all the children are safe and together, don't tell them what's going on, just say it's a procedure, in case something happens." He said calming himself down and abandoning his meeting for his office, Christiana and Nicole following with Willow still in Nicole's arms. 
"What about defense? We don't have enough sabers for every fairy in Lollipop Land, and who'll look after the children?" Nicole said trying to calm herself down, but exceedingly failing. Willow was scared and quietly weeping in her mother's trembling arms. 
"True. Defense...we'll manage, but as for the children, alert the mother's of Lollipop Land and tell them what's going on and to take the children to the safe house." Both Christiana and Nicole nodded and ran off to the town bell and rang it. 
Everyone ran out to the town hall to await their instructions. The second that Christiana and Nicole stepped into the town hall, they could feel the tension, it was so quiet, you could drop a pin and everyone would hear it. 
Christiana spoke first, "Could the members of the guard please follow me.". Her voice was shaking a little The members of the guard stood up, most looking lost, and confused, and followed Christiana to the army base. When they all left, Nicole asked "Could everybody else please follow me to the safe house, where I will tell you what's going on.". With that, she turned around, a sobbing Willow still in her arms, and led the rest of the town to the safe house. It didn't take long to get to the safe house, but to Nicole and the rest of the parents, it lasted a life time.
