A Definition Poem

Freedom is a fighting flower
Trying to give you power
Freedom is a song to sing
To fly on wings
Freedom is a dance to learn
Freedom is a chance to mourn
Freedom is a great surprise
Freedom is to be yourself
Freedom is to forget your wealth
Freedom is to fly on wings
Freedom is to not rely on things
Freedom is to stop your worry
Freedom is to write your story

Author's Note

this is one of my first so don't expect it to be the best!
im not a very good at remembering to capitalize, but i'll try to do better!
also this is a shorter version of the original one, which was really long!

Chloe, I like this and I would like to read the full length.
Do not worry about what others think about style or how long or short. You are in control when you write, well at least most of the time, sometimes the ones giving me the words take over really strongly. But put it down how it comes to you and feel good about whatever that is, if it is complete or correct in style to you that is all that matters. We are all free in writing or re-writing our stories, that is what life is isn't it. Blessings Chloe and may your talents and understanding grow.

thanks! also i have a question: idk if this is OK to ask, but how come my poems get more views than my stories? am i like not using enough tags or something? or is it that there are so many stories, that finding mine is hard?

I think its a nice piece.. The repeated beginning "Freedom is" led us down a path to the last line that kind of says it all.. "Freedom is to write your story" Enjoyed reading..
