Turning PointA Poem by Cynthia Barrick (CHING CHING)A turn in my life means a serious change, and why not someday Someday has come and gone over and over always a delay Why, I ask myself do I believe in things deep in my heart I know will only cause pain Spinning in a cycle of nothing to gain Time and time again being let down only to return to the deadend If I could have no emotions the message I would send Send a huge duffelbag of torn apart hearts Broken promises and dreams that have no remorse I believed in all the tales told to me of course Is it too late for life to turn about or have I been put into a pit A pit of my lonely heart agonizing over my lost wit A shame to say I was a fool to let it go Just make this turning point and who will I show Maybe we are strong enough © 2008 Cynthia Barrick (CHING CHING)Reviews
