Can you really say goodbye

Without telling a lie

Talked so cruel trying to break my heart

Left me alone tore my world apart

Youthful were we and together as one

A bond unbreakable not to be undone

Went too far to turn back to what was then

I can say not to live those lies again

Meant to be, my heart says yes, but my mind says no

Was this because we really didnt want to know

Memories of our love will always stay

Even if in body we went astray
