Truly Loved Me

Truly Loved Me

A Poem by Cynthia Barrick (CHING CHING)

Now and then I think of you

Of all the things you say and do

Without us now it seems so hard

I do believe I've pulled my whole card

A part is all I needed to see

Just how much you did mean to me

I remember when I thought of only you and I

Realizing all you did was actually make me cry

Tears fall and hearts break

I thought my love you wanted to take

This could never truly be

Because you never truly loved just me

What we had was special than

I'll never love you that way again

That read well, flowed smoothly... the words seemed to flow right out of you easily, the feelings are smacked onto the page. Beautiful
