The fated oneA Poem by Chin-hooi NgAbout the young woman who knew alreadyThe time she wakes up she looks for me as if i'm a phone she can't leave for too long she is a sweetie gentle and pretty she holds my finger i'm the one she lingers with when she is dressing up i get mesmerized just because her cascade of jet-black hair eyes full of love affair the curves of her body exudes a fragrance aromatic she keeps me sinking deeper and deeper in there is no getaway there's no when when she's moody and petulant my heart gets softer than water and i just can't for me she will put on prurient lingerie she kisses me fiery presses me under her body when no one's around she gets me tamed she'll call me by the pet name when she misses me she goes back to moody she worries about me getting rained on getting too hot or cold she'll tell me that when she misses me her heart seems to be assailed by a bee she'll say she hasn't heard from me for days when she needs me she prays i'd better be on my way she's petite and i'm the one she needs through life's ups and downs in big city or poor town as long as she can be with me she insists to be happy when i'm hungry and droopy she brings me food she keeps learning to cook just to keep my stomach full when i'm sick and faint she'd coax me into taking the medicine she cleans my wound she brings me water and fruit she watches over me all night at times buries her head next to mine when in her arms i often think of mom when i'm drunk she wants to get in on the fun when i'm crazy baby is my company she said if she were to leave me she wouldn't be able to live lively she said i'm her fated one her lifeblood, force and so on. © 2022 Chin-hooi Ng |
