Autumnal

Autumnal

A Poem by Chin-hooi Ng
"

imagery lines about autumn

"
The sky is vast
the dream is distant
lake is deep blue
red leaves bloom calmly
lanterns of persimmons light up the eyes
of seekers
delectable elegance of oranges
the green of barley swaying
tender lovable sprouts
vague vicissitudes of the reeds
chrysanthemum smiling proud
the mountains ponder
withered leaves hover
around increasingly bare trees
hurried people in thick outfits
keeping pace with time
filled with speckles and colors
of dreamy autumn.

I love poetry that speaks to the cornucopia of vast colors in nature. This was an enjoyable read. Thank you for sharing your art.
