Mountain of Glory

Mountain of Glory

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

Where I lay my head to rest, I dream of worlds sweet and fine.

"
I watch the sky atop a crystal mountain
as shores of another world
smash rapidly against one another

I stare curiously.

The light and dark of clouds
move in some sort of ritualistic
dance trapping me in it's melodious song

Is it telling a story.

Moon now centered middle ocean like a blue sky.
Can this world be of fantasy
or place to be till the end

Many questions unanswered.

As I lay atop the mountain cold
letting my body float off to the real world
Beyond anyone's dreams of the promise land

I set foot once again, on my Mountain of Glory.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
