Starry twins

Starry twins

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

 On a Journey
through universe old
for a roof over head
a heart not so cold.

 Along the way
a mischievous pair met
talking about life
and things I didn't quiet get.

 On I went
little did I know
they bet on my life
and how it would go.

 So if you meet
a nutty pair
dancing and smiling
upon thin air.

 Say goodbye
to the starry sky
of dreaming dreams
and having a life.

Sometimes things are put in our way as an obstacle, or moreover, a wedge. Temporary yet to overcome nonetheless. We just have to embrace virtue in patience, or we may never hold close that life, in this one until another. These things all depend on the self, Joshua! And one of these days, I will completely divulge a secret confession to you, whether it means anything now, not or never. I still wish you happiness in all of your endeavors.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
