Solidarity

Solidarity

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

I think to stop,
stay awhile,
this world rotating,
spins like a top,

Watching hands link,
as canisters leak,
the aftermath,
we all still rise.

To stand,
to fall,
and like fruit,
we bruise.

As we're human
a people united
in cause
citizen effect.
