I Am

I Am

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

Just who I am :).

"

 The unfolded hand,

wilted flower,

an abstract,

touch,

feel,

desire.

 A lucid dreamer,

submissive lover,

old fashioned,

shy,

tempered,

robust.

 Poeticly inspired,

thought dependant,

substance controlled,

warm,

tender,

gentle.

 Above all,

another spirit,

riding hope,

wandering,

waiting,

changing.

 With exception,

still searching,

for reason,

gazing,

internally,

for who I am.

Beautiful write! Reading "I am" in front of every stanza adds to its impact. You've bared your being to the scrutiny of eyes in many colors. I like this very much.

I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
