Isolated Hope

Isolated Hope

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

This is something some of us must work on, myself included.

"

 It's only in being hurt,

that you can find comfort,

in or away from another,

giving pain won't teach you this.

 Open your hearts,

allow fear into life,

embrace everything,

show a little humanity.

 Were suffering,

becoming recluse,

falling into isolation,

hiding from inner cruelty.

 I am the result,

a soul shaken hermit,

driven to the screen,

where then I pour my soul.

 Looking for a window,

letting light bring hope,

that one day I may return,

to the world we live in.

Chilson, Joshua
I wrote this while being on the phone, talking to company at the house, and smoking a cigarette.... can't believe it actually kept a flow.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
