Not so Simple.

Not so Simple.

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

The walk of life, mine.

"

 It's simple to say,

what needs to be done,

simple indeed

but words are harder to follow.

 Easier to run

than walk and observe

easy indeed

you miss many things.

 I have no doubt,

run, skip, leap

all of this I have done

only now getting on my feet.

 Finding it harder,

to pace myself,

used to fly

falling is what I remember.

 Difficult to say yes,

when did I add

to my vocabulary

no.

 Past and present

now collide

unexpectedly holding

fighting for control.

 The answer is clear,

decisions must be made,

to keep on living for good,

letting the sun brighten my day.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
