Here I Remain

Here I Remain

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

Written out of compulsive feeling, we all wish to return to some point earlier in life at times of hardship.

"

 Dark rider watching,

my feathers now stained,

restless and waiting,

forever will I remain,

Walking an endless path,

submissive and blind,

catering to ill,

while they take away my mind,

Oh pendulum swinging,

fervent and strong,

I'm trying to keep hold,

though my strengths almost gone,

If only I could revert

resurrecting light within

before the trials

where my time began.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
