The Journey

The Journey

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

  Something for you
my intelligent mistake,
those ways of living,
dishonor women
making good men shy away.

  Say you found god,
playing the devils game,
while dragging men
behind that golden chariot,
have you no respect.

  May I ask,
to why good people
are neglected abundant happiness,
the should be fruitful
get pushed into madness.

  This I bequeath,
for all men and women
with mishaps alike,
this life is a journey
let your heart be the light.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
