Self imprisonment

Self imprisonment

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

I want to dance in the rain,
smile in the winter snow,
feel as the wind presses against me.

  To laugh when i'm happy,
cry freely,
and find a love for this big heart.

  Break away from today,
fall openly into tomorrow,
live without regret.

  Show emotion,
beat the unbeatable,
be accepted as I am.

  Give passion,
for the creation,
of a better understanding to life.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
