Oceans of Afterthought

Oceans of Afterthought

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua

                I bathe in scribed scars
          Letting their stories wash over
                        My bare skin.
              And shower in thoughts
                    That fill my head
                        With echoes.
                       As words slip,
                      Drain and return
           From oceans of afterthought.
