My hopes and dreams
Are carressed by the sun As gentle kisses Against waxen feathers So that I may learn To hold Cherish And find my way For I wish To breach their limits Learn to fly With the silken sun As I do Against the moons stary glow Yet here I lay A man of the earth Feet solidly planted Dreaming Icarus. © 2016 Chilson, Joshua |
