Wallowing Willow

Wallowing Willow

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

Sometimes the mind needs a place to rest.

"
Oh shed tears
weep my willow
for this amber trunk
seeks shadowed refuge.

Where winds cool
the beaten mind
once mine
no more.

J.
No more tears?
No more energies spent in the wrong hands?
No more sadness, pains, grief?
I could go on. This just brings all of this and more to mind

I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
