Dance with Me, PleaseA Poem by ChidoriflowerThis is straightforward as is possible. I love dancing. And no, this isn't clubbing. I go to a swing-dance-spot with a nice cafe attached to it.
The music's playing, every beat echoes the beat of my soul
The people laughing, flirting with complete lovely strangers But you're not here, my laugh isn't real, isn't whole The lights flash, boom and sparkle, like fireworks Every step is fluid, the dance gives light to dangers But physical pain is nothing to these lonely hurts It doesn't matter if you can't sleep with me This dance floor is only mastered by you And without that single smile, I go crazy
