What to Write, What to WriteA Poem by ChidoriflowerA poem about the inevitable problem of writers' block; strangely, a lot of people write about it. o.o
How I hate the writers' block
It stays, unmovable, a mental rock I beg for my pencil to dance And flirt with thoughts and chance That obstacle forces inability It eats, attacks, literary vulnerability Be wary, my friend, that listless monster So gray and dull, yet getting even stronger How I dread when my assignment is due The writers' block notices the time for rue The essay, it comes out wrong, even lacking wit If only I would've said the candle hadn't been lit © 2013 ChidoriflowerFeatured Review
