Monster AdulteressA Poem by ChidoriflowerMy anger is only shown in writing.... Such cold, venom filled looks Dirty, small, crying body Long, skinny, scorching hooks Those long nights of love letters Was all just an empty facade To keep me in fetters Red lips, so cool, but on fire Tangled my affections with a spider's web And stopped struggles so very dire Trudging upon live frogs, that prostitute Going after men, the imbeciles and fools Taking sources of life, up from the root Snakes slither, slimy, on her tongue She plays the victim with such ease She is more ancient than most, not young Once out of her suffocating cage Claws jerk and rip, indicating her freedom Fairy tales vanish, page after page With her coming comes destruction Everyone is so fooled by her beauty Without your use to fill her void, your function I was nothing but a toy A gullible ox panting for water I was persuaded by her word, so sweet and coy Why did she not love me? She did not even say goodbye Such a fleeting passion would not last I stare in sympathy, watching her cry Maybe I cannot, will not let go of the past A pathetic creature of complex design Made my love go wild, and my heart blind
