Adam & Eve

Adam & Eve

A Poem by Philip Gaber

ImageThe Garden of Eden
is not necessarily
the Garden of Hope.

The Wisdom
that had usually
kept me sane,
left me with grief and pain,
and without you,
my heart was broken in two.

Thanks, Patricia. It's all about balance, peace, and accepting and inviting pain into your life—not regretting it, but coming to terms with it and embracing change.

dear Philip... it is always good to have "power of choice"''' however; in our World... too many people want to choose for each of us on this Earth. Our Country had Structure that would leave room for enough Choices to succeed.
Now.. we will struggle and try to mend what has been ripped apart. Perhaps Miracles will occur and a willingness to cherish the Spirit that kept us Safe. Amen... Pat

Spent way more time reading about your life than it actually took me to read your poem...and I see that you mainly write stories...
One never realises what is going to happen to them when they are young.. So many twists and turns... Mostly sober??? how is that possible...
Anyway the long and the short of it is that I did enjoy your poem...
Take care,
Lisasview, now in Spain
