a world of paperboys

a world of paperboys

A Poem by Philip Gaber

The  paperboy,

who’s late as usual,

scans the headlines.

Even though his route

size has grown,

not everybody subscribes.

By the time he finishes

delivering the papers,

the corrections outnumber the

facts and the facts

yellow with time,

but the paperboy remains a boy.

Great descriptor of the news and the speed with which the new becomes old and the failure as we all try to keep up. Enjoyed the read -carl
