I feel the tears behind the curtains of my eyes,

waiting in the wings for their grand entrance, waiting for their cue, waiting for the actors on stage to deliver their lines,

waiting for the audience’s reaction, the critic’s reviews, hoping the show won’t close after tonight’s performance.
