It is amazing how there are no Confederate statues of women.

Now that is an observation I had never thought about before, but I guess there's a lot of things that there are no women statues of. There's no woman soldiers in the Vietnam memorial either or in most memorials or statues to significant war figures. Women have just, historically, not been involved in that as much. Or at least, not outwardly, there are some pretty famous women spies, but you don't typically put up statues to covert operatives, haha.
Not to mention all the controversy over Confederate statues in general, I think women are more than happy to be left out of that mess.
