an intimate relationship which should never be broken

My poem is about you.

 

It’s a fiction that unfolds marvelously.

 

Simple and unaffected.

 

Ancient and powerful.

 

Not nihilistic.

 

Or dismal.

 

Or apocalyptic.

 

Sexy.

 

Enlightened.

 

Essentially honest in your actions,

predominantly defiant

in the present tense,

you juggle manmade and science,

language and character,

stories and sensations.

 

There's something chemical about that.
