weighweight and inertia and all that mumbo jumbo

weighweight and inertia and all that mumbo jumbo

A Story by Philip Gaber

My life has always been like

an advanced geometry problem;

a perfect balance of applied physics and my extreme human ability.

Always figuring out my angle of approach versus the speed.

it works out great although it’s really hard on the body.

So much exposure there, but

seems so comfortable standing there.

Even as a boy,

I demonstrated a spirit

of fearlessness and an

appetite for danger and was able to

absorb and smooth out

the shocks of my life.

It was just a matter of breaking through

that fear barrier and seeing how much

pressure it took to break me;

turns out I don’t break, I just bend.

Yeah, I made it down in one piece and kept it together.

I’m still alive.

Heh, mumbo-jumbo, life has a lot of that in it. This write expresses a passage I think at one time or another most of us, if we’re honest with ourselves, go through, working the angles and equations and then more than once, evaluate the outcomes. Yeah, it’s great to be alive.
