Trash

A Poem by Devan McKinley

Someone brings up your name.

And I hide.

The fact that I was with you...ugh.

I wish I could deny.

I don't know how,

Or even why I stayed with you.

I guess I thought it was love.

I thought it was true.

You're a liar.

You're a loser.

You're a cheater.

You're a boozer.

You're an a*****e.

You're a prick.

You're rude as hell,

And you're a dick.

I don't think more is really needed.

I think you get the jist.

Well, actually, no.

You are pretty thick.

You're a smoker.

You're a slacker.

Get another girl?

Yeah, you'll lose her.

You're selfish.

And you're a follower.

Oh she's a b***h?

Yet you wish you knew her.

You're alone.

And you're pathetic.

Flippin everybody off?

Man you just don't get it.

You do this to yourself.

And I'm glad I left your sorry a*s.

I'm moving away from this mistake.

You can keep on being white trash.
