Through darkness of heavy snow filled clouds
A ray of sunlight sneaks through the barrier
A blaze of light beaming off the glistening white snow
Feared by nothing, it shines with fortitude and passion
Love for life and all it touches blooms effortlessly
Vivid array of brilliant color reflected off the snow
Slowly the snow is melted away exposing to the earth
Struggling for warmth it feeds off the ray of sunlight
Sunlight entangles through twisted branches of the trees
Life below green blades of grass absorb sunlight
Gentle breeze caresses the sunlight penetrating the shadows
In darkness, life begins to awaken, stirring swiftly below
Sounds of movement as creatures below begin to rustle about
Time still as life congregate swallowing up the clouds
Clouds were disbursed seamlessly leaving intense color
Wholeness befell on life of all living things large or small
Winter washed away while spring howled from its silence
Consumed by life filling darkness with blushing color
Yesterday is recollection, present is a gift until tomorrow
