Meaning of Life

Meaning of Life

A Poem by Sheri Lynn

Sounds of thunder echoing in the distance as the clouds roll away

From beyond the winding roads, hills and peaks of the mountains

Slowly the sun creeps in between the fluffy white clouds

Revealing the bluest sky that twinkles with complete delight

Overwhelming relief resides over the land of many

As everyone begins to breathe as they look among each other

Everyone is safe from any harm that life had brought our way

Today is a fresh beginning for each and every one to remember

Life is too short to worry about what the world will bring

We must bring to the world what and who we are to be

Bumps along the road are not so massive but more acceptable

These bumps then make us stronger and more capable of being

Being the thunder that echoes in the distance as we begin

Our journey through life and all it can be for you and for me

For you to be able to live the life you so dreamed and aspire to

For me the one all wishes to seek out and aspire others to become

Become a highly developed person, exceptional goals and dreams

Encourage the pursuit for others, take the steps to be who you are

Not hide behind what you have become and do not wish to be

So as the thunder echoes in the distance, remember it is not leaving

For beyond the winding roads, hills and peaks of the mountains

Not what has left is to be your guide but what has yet to be tackled

You will be your own ray of sunshine I will be my own ray of clarity

To the ones that I love, cherish and hold dear to my heart

The ones who are gone, who touched our souls never to be forgotten

I am now what the thunder means to me and propels me forward

It is my turn to take control of faith and believe in my own destiny

I will be exceptional as others have come and shown before me

I am star in the bluest sky that twinkles with laughter

For your smile is my fuel that gives me the strength to believe

Believe in me and the love of my children, the soul of my being

Feeling their love as I had given onto them…my mean of life

This work has fantastic imagery! It tells a wonderful story and it holds a great deal of personification that was brilliantly used....
Life is too short to worry about what the world will bring

We must bring to the world what and who we area to be

Bumps along the road are not so massive but more acceptable

These bumps then make us stronger and more capable of being

I found the above stanza to be very motivating... Kind of changed the way I look at certain things in life.... in a word... Awesome!
