Was I Good Enough?

Just read it.

Was I good enough,
To make you love me?
Was I good enough,
To show you cared?
Was I good enough,
to prevent the unexpected?
Was I good enough,
To stay with you?
Was I good enough,
To stay your number one?
Was I good enough,
To have these questions answered?

I guess I wasn't good enough,
You stopped loving me.
I guess I wasn't good enough,
You stopped caring for me.
I guess I wasn't good enough,
Cause all in all I couldn't prevent it.
I guess I wasn't good enough,
You left me.
I guess I wasn't good enough,
I turned into number 100.
I guess I wasn't good enough,
Cause even now, my questions are unanswered.

Oh. I think this was just marvelous. THe repetition only stress the point. "Was I good enough?" And then, "I guess not" Oh.. I loved writing poems like these, but they are nothing compared to this. This is marvelous. And if I had a thesaurus I could give you many more adjectives. But I don't, and that's the only one I can think of.
