He Requires Poetry

He Requires Poetry

A Poem by Chekochan

He says he requires poetry
I think any fool could write
After laying in his arms
After spending just a night
After swimming in his ocean
After falling in his skies
After soaking in his smile
After sinking in his eyes

He says he requires poetry
I think any fool could sing
When you're worshipped like a goddess
When you're treated like a queen
When he touches like the sunshine
When he kisses like the rain
I would try my hand at poetry
I would try and try again
