Everyday

The sky was grey and all my pain wouldn't go away. Even though I begged for the storm to light up, but the rain kept falling, I kept frowning, felt like with every step I took I was only drowning.
Left behind. Left by all. You caught me as I began to fall.
I looked up to find you still there. I couldn't speak. I couldn't do anything, but stare.
I took your hand and stood up straight, but still the clouds didn't look so great.
You promised to never leave me.
That's when I questioned what is meant to be.
The moment I started to have doubt, it was then that the thunder would sound.
I pleaded for the rain to stop as I fell apart with every drop.
Looking at you through all my tears. You said,
"Chi stop the sky is clear."
As I stood up tall, I looked in your eyes and I promise I saw it all.
You said to me "The storm has just set in. It will be back again."
I wanted to cry then. What did you mean it would be back again?
Haven't you seen how much it hurts?
Why do you keep leaving me at times it gets the worst?
You smiled and looked at me, "Do not be afraid. I am by your side everyday."
