Leaf and Ash

Leaf and Ash

A Poem by Chikaki
"

A blush of pale lace lightly loops a frail limb...

"

A blush of pale lace lightly loops a frail limb
The misty shimer of morning spider webs
With the black poison dangling
Dew frosted blossoms captive by the wintery air
Pink petals dying next to waxen faces
On the second solstice of my sixteenth year
Fragile blades and soft indifference
Black and light with a slight glimmer
Snow drops drowning in a gentle web
Lay leaf and ash to grey solitude
