I'm from Memories

I'm from Memories 

I was born in the city 

But I did most of my growing up in between pages 

And playing imaginary games 

Two more pieces and mudcaked shoes 

Late night screens from video games

Paper shreds and messed up words 

Pitbulls to Pugs 

I love them all

Two dads

both removed

Too many houses 

Not enough memories 

Until I met Chase

From these memories 

I found where I came from

Author's Note

I had to write a "I'm from" poem. I'm not sure I like it all that much. We had to write these in middle school, and it annoyed me. I don't know if that shows. :^)

Who knows whether it shows or not. As far as I am concerned, I was immersed in the poem, through and through, some points I can relate, others... must have been hard. But I liked the poem, a little bit about the self known here ^^. Thank you for sharing ^^
