Since BirthA Poem by c.m.Yeah....read?Hush, love, you've just become mine Tiny gold curls and breathtaking eyes Your delicate fingers a tenth of mine Lips wet in a smile stamped on my heart
Those eyes so gold and a bouncing curl Waist-deep in the freshly fallen snow A jump for a snowflake so out of reach A tiny voice "watch me" stamped on my heart
I picture you in nothing but a bit of snow Blue lips wishing for a passionate warmth My lips on your fingers in a tender way Your skin delicious enough to make a meal
Your head cocked to the side, hair on your breast A cracking whisper because you don't understand A pink dandelion twisting around your fingers The furrowed brow of a young girl stamped on my heart
I picture you as one with me then in love A radiant smile and a falling tear on your cheek Your golden hair falling, matching your eyes A flawless white dress and beautiful shaking thighs
I read you Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet You cried and asked me if you'd ever be her You wanted a promise for a prince and glass slipper A man who would kiss you in sin and die in your love
I pictured you in Victorian dresses and glass shoes Sword in my hand and poison tracing the line of my lips I swore under my breath I could love you like that And my only answer to crying gold eyes was yes
I steal your hand and you jerk it away from me The people are watching and that's something wrong I loved you at birth, and you'll love me someday There's a year in a day and we've got days a plenty © 2010 c.m.Author's Note
