I Thought Of Just Your Face

I Thought Of Just Your Face

A Poem by c.m.
"

The ocean

"

The flutter of an eye, soft

Stealing my ground and kissing my feet

The fall of a lip, beautiful

The air divine in a tongue’s caress

The fall of a knee, hard

A gentle warmth slipping to teach cracks

A slip of a tear, ugly

Wet arms chill a circle of my back

The flutter of an eye, soft

Blink a goodbye to the handsome light

The fall of a lip, beautiful

The salty water tastes of your fingertips

I love the way you say so much not saying everythig - very nice. L.

I like how you talk about the ocean, but manage to somehow bring to "him" with, "The salty water tastes of your fingertips".
Even though it is short, you've got some desriptive imagery, such as,
"Stealing my ground and kissing my feet".

Well done.

Love the title....and love the poem. See what a good trip to the ocean can do for ya. Superb sweets.
